If you’re worth a billion bucks, it’s quite likely that you’re one to make sure that you look like at least a million bucks. In an effort to look their best, the elite leave no stone (in this case, diamonds) unturned. Celebrities in the big league like Katy Perry and Rihanna want a stylist who can set trends rather than imitate existing ones. Needless to say these highly sought after stylist don’t come cheap. Now would be a good time to keep a cushion under your face because your jaw will surely drop once you see the prices of the 5 most expensive haircuts in the world.

With Hollywood veterans like Julianne Moore, Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow as his clientele, it’s safe to say that the man is highly sought after. A styling session in his trendy Manhattan boutique will set you back approximately $800.

As a result of his high demand and popularity, Mr. Gibson had to raise his price from $950/session to $1200. Appearing on TLC’s world famous show What Not To Wear had increased his popularity significantly. His clientele list includes the like of Anne Hathaway and Renee Zelwegger.

Given the price-tag one can gather that it’s a case of more-than-just-a-haircut. Every few weeks, the Sultan of Brunei flies out his favourite hairstylist on Singapore airlines first class for his trim. Even though a styling session with the London man is not very expensive (by millionaire standards, of course), the Sultan values the stylist so highly that he covers all the hairstylist’s expenses for his troubles in travelling halfway around the world.
