This ready to move to island has everything in place for a new owner to move into and make it his own.

This would be a great time to start buying islands in Greece!
Due to the financial crisis the country is going through there are plenty of smaller islands up for sale there. We’re going to take a look at the most expensive of them all.
Omfori Island, located in the Ionian Sea, is the most expensive island in Greece is up for sale for $60 million. Currently inhabited the place could be turned into a piece of heaven.
8. Caye Chapel Island, Belize – Price: $65 million
Caye Chapel is a small island, 16 miles north-east of Belize City.
It boasts an 18-hole golf course, a deep-water marina, an airstrip and a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse with a large swimming pool and bar.
7. D’Arros Island, Seychelles. ~ Price: $94 million
D’Arros Island in Seychelles comes with a price-tag of $94 Million.
What was once the property of prince Shahram Pahlavi Nia of Iran since 1975, the island was bought in 1998 by an undisclosed owner since then revealed, by French tax authorities, to be the World’s Richest Woman 2013: Liliane Bettencourt. In August 2012 the island was sold once again and it is now valued at $94 million. Prices on islands are expected to jump in the next 10-15 years so whoever intends to buy it will probably make a solid profit on the deal!
6. Macapule Island, Sea of Cortez – Price: $95 million
The 23km island is still undeveloped, but a savvy investor with about $95 million to burn could seize the opportunity and turn Macapule into a real tourist attraction.
The main advantage is that the 5220 acres of the island are located just 150 metres offshore, which is a great advantage if you’re thinking development.

5. Ronde Island, Grenada. ~ Price: $100 million
There are plenty of incredible islands in the area up for sale! Out of them, the most prized one happens to be the Ronde Island which sadly didn’t yet find a buyer!
Back in 2007 when it was listed for sale at $100 million, Ronde Island was considered the most expensive island, but since a lot of things have changed and a lot of billionaires are looking for exotic investments.
4. Necker Island, British Virgin Islands. ~ Price: $100 million
This beauty is owned by Sir Richard Branson, famous for his Virgin brand, and it is part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio of luxury properties.
The island has everything needed to accommodate up to 28 guests in an amazing resort-like atmosphere.
The property for which Sir Branson paid only £175,000( $275,000) at that time turned out to be an amazing personal project and highly profitable putting it in the 4th position in our list.
With over 3 years of hard work and somewhere around $10 million the place turned amazing and it is now cashing in around $60,000 per night.
3. Rang Yai Island, Southeast Asia – $160 million
Thailand has become a tourist hotspot in the recent years! No wonder people are considering large investments in luxury real estate there.
Within the multitude of islands around, Rang Yai is the most expensive island in Thailand and the 3rd in our top 10. Just 20 minutes away from the Phuket International Airport, you can now own one of the most beautiful island in the world for only $160 million.
2. Lisbon Island, Portugal. ~ Price: $310 million
If you thought the previous ones were expensive just take a look at the second most expensive island in the world!
Located just 300m of the cost of Lisbon. The island covers over 3,000 acres.
Although originally listed at $350 million, the price varied in time and is now at $310 million.
Until the listing of Lanai it stood tall as the world’s most expensive island now ranking only second.
1. Lanai Island, Hawaii. ~ Price: $610 million
In June 2012, Oracle Corporation CEO Larry Ellison purchased Castle & Cooke’s 98 percent share of the island. The state owns the remaining 2 percent. This skyrocketed Lanai Island at the top of our rankings making it the Most Expensive Island In The World! Ellison’s plan is to invest up to another $500 million to truly develop the island infrastructure and its agricultural potential.
